Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Our Accountants manage day-to-day bookkeeping as well as monthly and quarterly tax reporting, journal entries and preparing quarterly and year-end financials for assigned clients and assist fellow Accountants with the same.
SPECIFIC DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Use of QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online software
- Accept and classify transactions into client books appropriately
- Create journal entries for items not appearing in the bank accounts
- Make sure the flow of transfers is properly recorded
- Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Transactions recorded as needed
- Conduct monthly reconciliation of every customer bank and credit card account
- Input Payroll data into software for checks, taxes and insurance
- Prepare monthly and quarterly tax reports
- Keep all licensing, permits and insurance current
- Answer questions on technical accounting tasks and escalated financial/bookkeeping issues
- Daily use of Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel and Word
